No.  The Caller ID for approachable calls is usually any the business relationship holders name is.  You tin call in to Client Intendance and accept individual lines inverse to another name, which tin can take a couple of days for the changes to take effect.

I'm on a family unit program. I called in to change my caller id to my name nigh 6 months agone and instead of changing it to my name it blocked caller id so people I chosen would get "no caller id." Not peachy but that was okay, at present it has reverted to the business relationship holder's name for all lines on the family unit program. I called and spoke to a very squeamish Indian adult female who said that she took care of information technology but apparently nothing was done. When I telephone call someone they still get the account holder'southward name. (all lines) This is so bewildering to me since it seems like it would be a common trouble with a family plan.

This is still an issue. I called back up because I don't want whatever name on my caller ID for outgoing calls, I merely desire my number to show. When I was a Verizon customer this was standard. I don't need my proper name beingness sent to every business organisation I phone call, or every weirdo on Craigslist, etc. The first guy I talked to said this would exist no trouble, and so put caller ID blocking on my line. Non at all what I asked for. I made multiple calls and each time was told it was fixed, and it wasn't. Nothing was ever done, and now I still accept caller ID blocking. Some businesses won't accept incoming calls from me because they don't accept calls from blocked numbers.

T-Mobile also continues to transport me marketing texts and emails subsequently I have unsubscribed from them multiple times. This company clearly has no respect for my privacy — they seem to not even understand the concept. I'm about to go dorsum to Verizon and but pay the extra money to bargain with a more professional carrier.

I joined T-Mobile yesterday and have the Magenta Max programme.  2 lines.  The outgoing caller id is something foreign for both lines.  I went to my profile, Caller ID, edited the name for both lines, saved and information technology states that it has been saved, merely it'south not saving.  Does this characteristic not work using the website?  Will I have to call in to support to have this fixed?  I had a different issue with my new account yesterday and spent xl minutes waiting for an agent to aid me.  Any other options to fix this?

I never use the t-Mobile app on my telephone -- My telephone is an "added device" on my husband'southward account, therefore every time I have tried to apply the app to access our business relationship from my phone, it insists on sending an identity verification code to my husband'south telephone or email, and my husband is not ever available to pass it along immediately for me to type it in.  So I just use my web browser (Chrome) on my laptop if I need to access our business relationship.

In your web browser, log into your account at t-mobile.com, and then click on "Profile" at the top of the page.  In the Profile page, click the department header titled "Caller ID".  (Or endeavor this link:  https://www.t-mobile.com/account/profile/line-selector/callerid).  From the list, select the device whose Caller ID proper name y'all want to change.  Past default, the Caller ID for all the devices associated with the business relationship is the principal business relationship holder'due south name (as it was typed into the system past the salesperson who set up the business relationship).  I used this link today to modify the Caller ID on my phone from my husband's first name to my own starting time, and also to right the spelling of our concluding proper noun (on ALL our devices).

After you make your changes and click "Save", you lot will get a pop-up at the meridian of the screen that says you successfully saved the new Caller-ID proper name.  Echo the procedure for each device as appropriate.

Notation:

Afterwards you accept saved your changes, if you lot leave the page and then render to information technology later to confirm the changes, don't exist alarmed if you withal encounter the sometime data. It doesn't hateful the changes reverted dorsum to the old info or weren't successfully saved. It states on the folio that information technology can take up to 72 hours for the saved changes to take upshot (both on the web page and on the device).  So I recommend that you cheque dorsum afterward a few days to verify that the info was indeed changed.
